Follow the Simple Instructions


1. Open Miscorosft Outlook 
2. Menu -> Tools -> Account 
3. In the "Internet Accounts" Select The Mail Tab
4. Click On add Button & Select Mail
5. Type Display Name, Name that should appear in the mail sent & click on next
6. type your gmail email address yourname@gmail.com click next
7. In the "intenet connection wizard" window type incoming mail as 
pop.gmail.com & Outgoing mail as smtp.gmail.com
8. type in your user id & passwork & then click on next
9. "internet Connection Wizard" select "Connect using my lan" in case you are using lan 
10. Congatulations window - click on next

Now see its not over yet. You need to configure the mail to connect using secure shell ssl

11. "Internet Account" Window select pop.gmail.com and click on Properties in 
the right menu
12. select the advanced tab
13. In the "server port numbers" check the "This Server requies a secure connection (SSL)"
check both for pop and smtp 
14. Outgoing port set it as 587 & incoming 995 & click on apply
15. click on the "Servers" tab
16. "Outgoing mail server" check "My Server requres authentication" 
17. click on setting 
18. "Outgoing mail server"  select the logon using radio button 
19. enter gmail id and password & check Remember my password click on ok ok 
20. "close the internet accounts window"

You can start sending and receiving mails using outlook
